Just finished with the confirmation lock-in and it was a great time. I am in such a mixed state of exhausted and excited that i don’t want to go to sleep but I know that if i even set a foot in the bed I will be out. To avoid slumber i thought that i woudl look at some of the pictures of the weekend.
When I was going through them I was thinking about my journey to this ministry and the people that ask me when I am going to get a real appointment where I don’t have to do youth ministry. I always think two things when I hear this. First, awesome the more people that want “real” non-youth ministry means that there are just more opportunities for me to answer my call. And the second thing is, why would i ever want to do anything else when my ministry consists of things like this…
