Bart and Dasiy’s big adventure

on the trail-5

As the snow continues to fall Bart and Daisy decide to get some much needed shuteye.  Bart decided to be the gentleman and be on the lookout for any creatures that might want to come their way.

Munch the raccoon is also posed on the other side of Daisy’s tent just in case.

Dinner time!!! After a full day of riding in the wagon our couple feels like they have made good progress.  They have decided to take a pit stop and enjoy the sunset.

Hey look they even met a new raccoon friend.  He ended up stealing some of Bart’s jerky and so they have names him “Munch”

Wow the snow sure is falling and Bart and Daisy look like they are getting a little bit chilly.  Good thing Herman the horse knows they way or they might be in a bit of a bind in this whiteout.

Well keep on plugging away Herman.

How beautiful, the snow is falling and creating a winter wonderland for the trip out west.  What a lucky couple Bart and Daisy are.  Herman the horse looks like he is having a fun time traipsing through the powder too.  🙂

Hi there.  Meet Bart and his wife Daisy.  They are expecting a child soon.  They are a bit of an odd match with him being one of the last cattle herders in Frederick and she being an experimental education teacher at a local preschool for parents who remember the first Woodstock.

They have just packed up their belongings and loaded up Herman the horse to head to Oregon to find some work (and Daisy got a hot tip about some grade A granola out that way).  Little did they know there was a winter storm creeping up from the south west.  Herman tried to tell them because of the weather report he got from his iphone but Bart and Daisy don’t believe in that technology hooey.

Lets see where their journey takes them.
