Practical Faith for Practical People

Through my time on paternity leave I have learned more things than I could have ever imagined.   Things about Life, love, babies and God.  Here are the top ten pearls of wisdom I have gathered while at home getting to know my daughter…

10. Babies are slippery when wet!

9. Sleep…its not just a nighttime affair anymore!

8. When she smiles time stops.

7. Catching a greased pig may be easier than getting stockings on a squirmy infant.

6. Pacifier, nuk, binky and plug are all defined in the dictionary of baby stuff as…peace.

5. Eden loves to snuggle.

4.Kronk (our dog) is the best nanny/bodyguard we will ever have.

3. If the baby wakes you up at 2 AM to eat it doesn’t mean that you can’t have a snack too.

2. If the baby wakes you up at 2 AM to eat it doesn’t mean that you should have a snack too.

1. After seeing a baby grow develop and smile there is no doubt we have been created by a Loving and compassionate God.

So many wonderful things and there is still so much more time left.
