Practical Faith for Practical People

4th of july 2009As we held to tradition Katie Eden and I went to VA for the 4th this year so that we could hang out with her family.  There was a parade, various bikes trikes and carts decorated with great patriotic things on them.  I saw Abe Lincoln, George Washington and some other great costumes.  We made “Cakewalk Queen/princess” shirts for Katie’s mom and Eden.  And Eden was the won who won the cakewalk this year.  It was a neat time and then we headed back for church and an empty house without the girl or the dog.  Great way to get into the precamp spirit.
