I am working on cranking out our up to date children’s ministry catalog.  I was going with the same look and feel as the youth one to keep continuity between the ministries.  I like the way the cover came out.  Now for the not so fun part of adding the content :-/ oh well.  I think I am going to try and add some fun elements and coloring pages in this one. 

What could we put in the catalog (besides stickers, that will be for next time) that would be fun for kids?

Coloring pages and maybe a word search?

For the past little while I have been looking into ways to get some better quality screen printing supplies for cheap.  I found a couple of sources for the stuff to make the screens and today I got a couple of new colors of a higher quality ink.

The kind that I got is made for dark colored fabric.  My hope is that the white will show well on a black shirt.

I took some time today to mock up a screen for a game we play at camp called FORTRESS.  It is a great game you play in the dark.  I thought that this would be the perfect trial for the new stuff.  I found an old black undershirt and made a print!

The Verdict:  The new screen films that I got the other day are GREAT!!! Also the new Speedball ink is really nice too.  I still have to set the ink by ironing it and see if it fades.  I have a little adjustment I need to do to the design if I am going to make any more, and the the screen itself needed to be replaced and there are some splotches from that.  Overall I am really excited to screen some more shirts.

After some time of jingling around in my mind, I finally put design to ink and came up with this logo on a soccer style jersey.  I am really excited about it, and just wanted to share a couple of pictures.
